JudoLytics on your iPhone.

You install the JudoLytics app on your home screen through Safari. App stopped working, or won't install? Work through the steps below, in this order.

Your data is safe

All your matches, training sessions and measurements live in your account, not in the app. Deleting and reinstalling costs you nothing. Log back in and everything is right where you left it.

Check if the app is still there

On your home screen, swipe all the way left to the App Library and search for JudoLytics. Still there? Open it first. If it won't load: press and hold the icon, choose Delete App, then Delete. Not just remove from home screen.

Clear Safari's website data

Go to Settings, Apps, Safari, Advanced, Website Data. Search for judolytics and swipe the row left to delete it. Nothing there? That's fine, move on to the next step.

Restart your iPhone

Sounds too simple, but it fixes a known iOS issue where new icons never show up on the home screen.

Open judolytics.com in Safari

It has to be Safari. Installing doesn't work from Chrome or from a link inside your mail app. Log in while you're there.

Add to Home Screen

Tap the share button (the square with the arrow pointing up), choose Add to Home Screen and tap Add. Don't see the icon right away? Check the App Library.

No Add to Home Screen option?

Screen Time is probably blocking it. Go to Settings, Screen Time, Restrictions. Make sure Safari is allowed and installing apps is turned on. On a device with parental controls, a parent needs to enter their passcode for this.

After installing

Open the app and log in. All your matches, training sessions and measurements are still there. Then turn notifications back on under Settings, Notifications in the app.
